Beetroot is shiny for skin and hair :3 excellent benefits

How many layers do you need to make your skin glow?

I wouldn’t say I like makeup.

But, sometimes, I like to watch makeup videos. It’s incredible to see makeup enthusiasts using 20 to 30 different creams and colors to apply their makeup. When finished, they become immaculately beautiful and sometimes even unrecognizable.

Makeup is, of course, a work of art and can be beautiful when used well.

However, I prefer a minimalist approach to preparation: I apply face oil, moisturizer, and lip balm to look presentable.

I find joy in saving my energy for what truly matters to me: cooking and savoring healthy, nourishing food. This not only fuels my body but also contributes to my skin’s health and radiance.

The benefits of a healthy diet extend beyond just nourishing our bodies. Eating well can keep our skin healthy and glowing from the inside out, reducing the need for an excessive number of skincare products.

In general, you must eat a variety of foods to stay healthy. However, some foods can stimulate our skin and hair extra. One of them is beetroot.

If you follow me around for a while, you’ll know how much I love beetroot. I talk about this from time to time. For a good reason, beetroot is an excellent food for your health, hair, and skin.
Are you curious about the unique benefits of beetroot for your hair and skin? Let’s delve into this fascinating topic…

3 Amazing Benefits of beetroot for your skin and hair

1. Beetroot contains a lot of beets

Beetroot’s vibrant red color is due to a plant pigment called beetroot. These red pigments have powerful antioxidant properties.

One of the causes of hair loss and graying is oxidative stress.

Therefore, eating foods with a higher antioxidant capacity, like beetroot, is a powerful way to reduce hair loss and promote healthy growth. As you age, your skin will show signs of aging such as dark spots, labels, and wrinkles. But with the help of antioxidant-rich foods, you can take control and combat these signs of aging, as they work from the inside to heal and repair tissue.

2. Beetroot promotes liver health

What does that have to do with your hair?

This is because the liver is responsible for hundreds of bodily functions.

The liver helps absorb fat-soluble vitamins A, D, and E essential for hair growth.

The liver also removes toxins and harmful substances from the blood. It also helps break down excess hormones, alcohol, and drugs. That’s why when you have a problem with your liver, it affects other parts of your body, including your hair. Traditional Chinese medicine says a healthy liver promotes healthy hair growth and glowing skin.

Animal studies have shown that the compounds in beetroot, especially betaine, have a protective effect on the liver. They protect the liver by scavenging harmful free radicals and reducing inflammation.

3. The nutrients in beetroot can improve your skin and hair

Beetroot is rich in silica. This mineral is necessary for maintaining healthy bones and teeth.

Silica also helps to improve skin elasticity and hydration, making it firm and youthful. Silica does this by promoting the production of collagen.

For your hair, silica makes them strong and elastic, so there are fewer breaks.

Hair with a high silicon content has a lower drop rate and is more shiny.

Beetroot also contains many other essential nutrients, such as folate, iron, vitamin C, manganese, and potassium.

Now that you know the many benefits of beetroot, let’s look at how to make a delicious stir-fry.

How to cook stir-fried beetroot

There are several ways to eat beetroot. Some people like to cook it; others like to eat it raw; I want to use it to stir fry. It’s easy to make, and it tastes great. Here’s how to do it

To make this stir-fry, you’ll need:
2 medium beetroot
1 TBSP oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds (you can also use sunflower seeds)
1 whole dried red pepper or 1 stick green pepper (optional)
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon lime juice
Taste of salt
Production method:
1. Heat oil in a wok (over medium heat).
2 Add the mustard, cumin, and red peppers (I split them into two or three pieces to extract more flavor) and let them sizzle for 15 to 30 seconds.
3. Add sesame seeds and stir for a few seconds.
4. Add the peeled and grated beetroot and salt; Stir well.
5. Turn down the heat, cover, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes (stirring a few times in between)
6. Finally, add lemon juice and stir well.

Serve hot or cold as an appetizer or a cute extra main dish. You can also use it to make burritos and sandwiches.
